Therapets
The Guild recently had a talk by Linda Whitby on “Therapets”. They are an organisation who take dogs into schools like James McFarlane and Heysholm, Ayrshire Central Hospital, private homes and more recently, universities. However, they are desperately in need of volunteers with dogs. If you think you could assist then please contact Linda on 01294 276838 or email her at lindawhitby@btopenworld.com.
The photo below shows a rescued greyhound “Megan”, golden retriever “Storm” and border terrier “Bonnie” who won Therapet of the year, a competition in which over 500 dogs competed!
